Tim Andrews

Born at an early age, a native of Yorkshire, he takes it every where he goes.

Having spent almost a lifetime of dealing with a variety of scenarios and having made his millions as a 4 year old entrepeneurial chimney sweep, he developed a love of music, Rugby League and Football, Cas Tigers and Leeds United, dirty Leeds are his teams of choice and he suffers their daily lack of success with pride, in the hope of better times ahead.

Legendary DJ – Johnny Walker – R.I.P. gave him the inspiration to get out and explore the musical boundaries of the 80’s and after working in Scandinavia, Europe and The Middle East, decided to return to the UK & for a period he worked successfully in the Entertainment Business working with acts such as, Status Quo, Bernard Manning, Elkie Brooks, Take That, Miss World, Dina Carrol, plus many more.

Not many people will know this, but he once, single handedly STOPPED a Spike Milligan show at the Grand Theatre in Leeds, due to continued hysterical laughter at one of Spike’s previous anecdotes and it caused a stoppage of around 15 minutes, because the players on stage could not concentrate on their act, in fact it caused more mayhem and hilarity for everyone there, including Spike!!

During his time as a nightclub manager, he managed to take a coachload of staff and guests to see George Benson at the NEC. Seated near the front, Tim wanted to get up and have a boogie (after 5 minutes) but 2 ladies who were sat behind him, were not happy with this, so security were called. After ascertaining the issue, they decided to bring Tim & one of the guests to the front of the stage, so they could carry on, without causing further “distress” to the 2 ladies involved and within 10 minutes, the whole of the NEC, 15,000, minus the 2 ladies (who stayed sitting throughout), were all up having the best time and you had to be there to believe it. A good night was had by all, except the 2 ladies, who are probably still sat there……..

Tim also had a walk on part in the smash hit Egyptian film – Fish & Milk, which was filmed at the Movenpick Hotel, in Heliopolis in Cairo 1988 and is still awaiting his invitation to the Oscars……

Also likes most people, good comedians, Warburton’s bread and humility, that’s it.
